It has been 3 months today sinceSunni and I arrived here in Kosovo, sorry it's been so long since i've updated you guys, things have been really busy over here.

At the bakery there are 7 national employees with whom we have become incredibly close! One of the 7 employees trusts in our Father, while the rest are Muslim. Some are committed to their faith while others claim it because of their nationality. Please pray that God will move in their hearts, that they will question their faith and seek Truth.
We have helped the MKs here start a youth group with nationals. The youth group is growing, and so is the enthusiasm of the MKs. They have started teaching the lessons and running the games themselves, and with the encouragement of their parents they will continue meeting even after Sunni and I are gone. It has been such an encouragement to us to see the nationals coming to learn and spend time with us.We have also been meeting with a group of national girls every Saturday. Usually we just play games, bake, watch a movie, or dance. For them, it is a time to have fun and practice English, but we're hoping to build a relationship of trust with them that will help make it easier for the M'S here to reach them in the future.
In our free time we sometimes go up the mountain, or out for coffee, and in the last month we've been going to the recently opened cinema that shows movies on Friday nights only. It's so exciting!!
I have also been taking a hip hop dance class, it has been a great opportunity for me to build relationships with the nationals in the class. We have all become very close and I love spending time with them. We just found out that we're going to be performing on a local television show on May 8th! It's very popular with the nationals, so that is pretty exciting.
It has been such a blessing to be able to live life with such an amazing people group, and I'm sad to think that it's almost coming to an end. Keep us in your prayers as we continue to make the most of our time here for the next month!

Romans 10:14-15
How then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the on whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"

It's been a month since I've left the states and time is just flying by! I feel so incredibly blessed to be here and I've already learned so much. We're really starting to connect with the people we've been meeting and have been able to spend a lot of time with them. The weather has definitely been one of the biggest challenges of being here. It started snowing a few days after we got here and didn't stop, they said they haven't seen snow like this in twenty years. It's very cold and there is no central heating, people use wood burning stoves to keep warm here. The bakery doesn't have a wood burning stove, just one electric heater, so it gets pretty cold while we're working. The power goes out a lot, sometimes once every couple hours, so that was something that we had to get used to as well. If there's one thing I've learned so far, it is how blessed I am when I'm living in America, and how many things I take for granted. There are sometimes 15 people living in one tiny house, and when the power goes out they all cram into one room to stay warm. It is amazing to see how people who have so little are so generous and giving to the people around them. The snow finally stopped and the sun is coming out making everything look so incredibly beautiful. March is going to be a busy month for us, we will be starting the girls english club, as well as a youth group for all of the kids in the community. We also have a volunteer team coming from Liberty University to come help for ten days. It's definitely exciting all of the things that are happening and we are so happy and blessed to be apart of it!

It's been about a week since we've arrived in The Balkans, and things are going great! I love my partner and my field workers. The family we're staying with is amazing, they made us feel right at home. They own a bakery and that is where my partner and I will primarily be working at. Our job is to build relationships with the workers at the bakery and the nationals, while developing expert baking skills. :] We will also be working with younger girls teaching them english and planning different events for them. It's been great so far we're really excited to be here!
